Supply List for Painting with Photos:

Paint:
Black - ivory or mars
Titanium  white
cadmium red
cadmium yellow
yellow ochre *
cadmium orange *
purple
sap green
olive green *
browns - raw sienna , burnt umber
Blues - prussian, ultra marine
* not required, but helpful to have
Brushes:
Filbert # 2, 4, 6 ,8 Utrecht has a great synthetic blend - they are black with a yellow band around them.
and a tiny brush - Black gold Dynasty 3/0 is great
Brushes should be new or in very good condition so you can work with accuracy.
Other Items:
small container of Liquin (if using oil paint)

a mixing pallette - disposable
metal pallette knife for mixing and transferring paint
good painting rags or shop towels  - something that doesn't leave lint in your brush as detail will be important.
If you're going to use acrylic, you might want an acrylic paint medium maybe to slow down the drying time or thin the paint a little.
Pictures of landscapes, either your own or snippets from magazines, postcards etc.. we are working from photos. Keep them simple.
